FOREST YURTS FAQ
PRACTICAL INFORMATION REGARDING FOREST YURTS
When booking a yurt, there is free access to the Skovtårnet from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset on the days you are visiting. If you arrive before check-in, you contact the reception and you will be given tickets. The boardwalk can be used around the clock.
The yurts can be booked all year round. They are heated and there is underfloor heating in the private bath house. It will be colder when it is cold outside, so we recommend that you bring extra warm clothes and slippers in winter.
In high season it is possible to buy food at the arrival area. The offer may vary and it is recommended to familiarize yourself with Camp Adventures website or contact the reception staff on arrival. All yurts are equipped with a cozy mini-kitchen, where you can prepare the evening meal yourself. The kitchen is not intended for deep-frying.
At Camp Adventure we cook over a fire. There is a fire pit at each yurt, where there is firewood, grate, kindling briquettes and a gas burner.
There is coffee and tea in the tent.
In the yurt, there is a minibar with wine, bubbles, snacks and soft drinks. Payment is made upon departure.
Electric charging stations are located in the parking lot by the yard.
The yurt is only reserved for overnight, paying guests.
It is not permitted to bring domestic animals into the yurts.
Bed linen, towels, tea towels and tea towels are included in the price.
In Rønnede (5 kilometers from Camp Adventure) it is possible to shop in both Rema 1000 and Meny. We recommend that all purchases are made before check-in and no later than 18.00pm to minimize driving in the area.
Climbing tickets are available as an additional purchase for your stay. If you book climbing in connection with your stay, the harnesses must be used every day of the stay, after you have received instructions in connection with your booked time. However, only if the climbing park is open on the days in question.
Climbing can only take place during our opening hours, where there are instructors in the forest.
Approach the instructors with proof of your stay on the days you climb "extra".
All yurts are equipped with an oven, hob and fridge/freezer. Crockery and the most common kitchen utensils are available.
For special kitchen equipment, we recommend that you bring your own.
In the yurt, there is fine salt, pepper and sugar in small packages, as well as coffee and tea. The coffee is quality stamp coffee.
There are no curtains in the yurts, so if you are sensitive to light and noise, we recommend that you bring a sleeping mask and earplugs (the birds get up early). It is, on the other hand, very dark in the forest at night, so it may be an idea to take headlamps and the like with you if you are going outdoors.
Breakfast can be purchased in conjunction with booking. You can help prepare breakfast at Camp Adventure. Breakfast is delivered at the reception upon check-in.
The breakfast is vegetarian.
An overnight experience in the Forest Village at Camp Adventure is a quiet experience in the middle of nature with respect for the animals, nature and the peaceful stay of the other guests. It is therefore not permitted to bring a sound system or hold a party with large amounts of alcohol. At 22:00 must be quiet.
In Rønrede lies the historic Ran Inn, which serves tasty food with inspiration from both the traditional Danish hookah kitchen and the classic bistro. The tenants behind Rønnede Kro also run the Michelin restaurant Frederiksminde in Præstø (20 minutes from Camp Adventure). Read more about the beautiful restaurants here: www.mindeaverdig.dk
Villa Gallina is probably Denmark's most beautiful restaurant and is located deep in the forests of Gisselfeld Kloster. The restaurant is primarily a lunch restaurant and it is recommended to book a table. www.villa-gallina.dk
Upon arrival at the reception, a key to the yurt and an access card for parking and to Skovtårnet will be handed out. Everything must be returned when Camp Adventure leaves after the end of the stay.
All yurts are uniquely furnished with both new and old items, which we have spent time selecting. We hope that you will help take good care of the tents and contents so that they can last for many more years. When leaving the yurt, all personal belongings, food etc. brought along. The yurt must be left cleaned, all crockery, pots, dishes etc. must be washed up. In tents with a dishwasher, the machine must be switched on at check-out. If this is not the case, we charge a fee of DKK 500. We handle the final cleaning. If you experience errors and omissions or that there are things that are broken, please notify the staff immediately.
There is free parking near the yurts. We recommend that driving after 18pm be minimized in the area and that you drive quietly for the sake of animals and other guests.
Smoking is prohibited in the forest and thus also at the yurts. If there is to be smoking, this takes place in the courtyard by the arrival area. Cigarette butts must always be thrown into the ashtrays provided.
South Zealand is a treasure trove of undiscovered nature and cultural experiences. It is possible to find inspiration for the local area destinationgisselfeld.dk og www.sydkystdanmark.dk as well as to the South Sea Islands at www.visitlolland-falster.dk.
Enjoy the heat of the sauna while looking out at the beautiful lake and nature. A memorable experience exclusively for overnight guests in the yurts. The sauna is located between Terra Cotta and Forest Green.
There is a powder extinguisher, a first aid kit, a flashlight and a smoke alarm in all tents. Cardiac pacemakers are available at the entrance to the reception and at Skovtårnet.
