THE HUT FAQ

When staying in the Hut, you have free access to the Forest Tower.

On weekends, and high season, it is possible to buy food at the arrival area. The selection varies according to season. The Hut is equipped with a kitchenette, an electric grill and a fire barrel with a grate.

During your visit, you can charge your hybrid or electric car at one of the charging stations set up at reception. You can download the Power Fuel app in advance and register your information.

The Hut is reserved for paying guests only.

Pets are not allowed in The Hut.

Bed linen, towels, tea towels and rags are available in The Hut.

In Rønnede (5 km from Camp Adventure) it is possible to shop in both REMA1000 and MENY.
We recommend that all purchases be made before check-in and no later than 6 PM, to minimize driving in the area.

Climbing tickets must be purchased in addition to your stay at Camp Adventure. If you book climbing, you are welcome to climb every day of your stay so long as you have received the obligatory instruction with your booked time. Be aware that the climbing park is closed during winter and on select days of spring and autumn – see opening hours for more information. Climbing may only take place during our opening hours, when staff is present in the forest. Contact the instructors with proof of your stay on the days you climb “extra”.

The Hut is equipped with an oven, hobs, a fridge-freezer, French press coffee pot, and a gas grill. Dishes and the most common kitchen utensils are available. There is salt, pepper, instant coffee and tea.

If you are sensitive to light and noise, we recommend that you bring a sleeping mask and earplugs (the birds get up early). It is very dark in the forest at night, and headlamps and the like is recommended when venturing outside after sundown.

Breakfast can be purchased with your booking. The breakfast is vegetarian and includes bread, pastry, butter, eggs, juice, cheese, honey, jam and nutella. You finish baking the bread yourself in the morning.

An overnight experience at Camp Adventure is a quiet experience in the middle of nature with respect for the animals, nature and the peaceful stay of the other guests. It is therefore not permitted to bring a sound system or party with large amounts of alcohol. Quiet time starts at 10 PM.

In Rønnede is the historic Rønnede Kro, which serves tasty food with inspiration from both the traditional Danish inn kitchen and the classic bistro. The tenants of Rønnede Kro also run the Michelin awarded restaurant Frederiksminde in Præstø (20 minutes from Camp Adventure). Read more about the beautiful restaurants.

Villa Gallina is probably Denmark’s most beautifully situated restaurant and is located deep in the forests of Gisselfeld Kloster. The restaurant is primarily a lunch restaurant, and it is recommended to book a table. www.villa-gallina.dk

Upon arrival at reception, you will be given a key to The Hut as well as an access card for parking and the Forest Tower. Everything must be returned when leaving Camp Adventure at the end of your stay.

We hope you will help take good care of The Hut and its interior so that it will last for many years to come. Bring all personal belongings, food and leave the place tidy. Crockery, pots, dishes etc. must be washed up. If this is not the case, we charge a fee of DKK 500. We handle the final cleaning.

Parking is free. We recommend minimizing driving after 6 PM and driving quietly for the sake of animals and other guests.

Smoking is prohibited in the forest and in all accommodation. Smoking is permitted in the courtyard adjacent to the arrival area. Cigarette butts must always be disposed of in the ashtrays provided.

There is a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, a lamp and a smoke alarm. Defibrillators are available at the entrance to the reception, in the climbing park and at the Forest Tower. Staying in nature generally requires that you pay attention.

Take good care of The Hut and its interior during your stay. You yourself are liable for any damages. If something, contrary to expectations, is broken or not working on arrival, or if damage occurs during your stay, contact reception or the emergency telephone immediately.

The Hut has a private toilet and outdoor shower. Indoor showers are located in the toilet building near the reception.
