FOREST FARM

Forest Farm is Camp Adventure’s small-scale farm. Here, you can explore the vegetable garden, greenhouse, and flower fields, and meet the farm animals.

Access is open to everyone with a valid access and parking ticket or a ticket to the Forest Tower, Climbing Park, or overnight stay.

FLOWER FARM

In the flower farm, you can explore a colourful landscape filled with blooms in every shade. Over three kilometres of winding paths take you through different zones – from soft pastels to vibrant rainbow colours. The 12-hectare field is set in gently rolling terrain with views of open farmland, villages, and the iconic Forest Tower in the distance.

It’s a pick-your-own field, where you can create your very own bouquet of flowers. Bouquets are purchased at the farm shop.

Along the way, you’ll find small rest areas where you can pause and enjoy the view. The flower season typically begins in July and lasts into September. The seeds are sown in May, and over the summer the fields burst into full bloom.

VEGETABLE GARDEN

In the vegetable garden, you can explore a variety of seasonal vegetables. The one-hectare garden is laid out in neat rows, where we grow everything from cabbage and carrots to lettuce and leeks – all in accordance with the season.

You are welcome to harvest the vegetables that are ripe. Tools are provided at the entrance to the garden. The vegetable garden brings you up close to the ingredients and shows you where your food comes from – a rewarding experience for all ages.

Next to the vegetable garden, berry bushes grow with blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries, and blueberries. When the berries are ripe during the summer months, they can be picked to take them home for desserts like stewed berries or redcurrant jelly.

FARMYARD ANIMALS

By the greenhouse lives a small group of goats, chickens, and rabbits. The animals are a cozy stop on your way to the flower farm and the vegetable garden. The goats’ pen is open to visitors, and you’re welcome to step inside and see if the goats are in the mood to say hello.

In the chicken coop, overnight guests can collect eggs for breakfast and find inspiration for a nourishing morning meal.

THE GREENHOUSE

Over the summer, the greenhouse has taken shape, and the first tomatoes and cucumbers have been harvested from the vines. Here, you can sink into a soft chair and enjoy your coffee to the gentle sound of the hens clucking in the background.

Soon, we’ll be hosting the first long-table dinner, and over time the greenhouse will also become a setting for smaller gatherings and workshops with nature at the centre. Inspiring people with something on their minds will help shape the program – with everything from foraging walks and conversations to tastings and hands-on activities connected to this place.
