FOREST YURTS
A stay in the unique yurts on Zealand leaves you alone in the middle of nature with the comfort of a luxury hotel. The tents are inspired by traditional yurts from the plains of Mongolia and are furnished with nature in focus. The yurts are insulated and heated and can be used all year round.

THE EXPERIENCE
Imagine waking up to the gentle sounds of the forest coming to life. Through the glass dome above your bed, the sky slowly brightens — and just outside your door, a wild, natural landscape unfolds.
The trees embrace the Mongolian yurt, while the lake stretches out before the spacious wooden terrace. The scent of freshly brewed coffee drifts from the kitchen, and in your private bath hut, you can enjoy a steamy shower with a view of nature. Later, you can cook over an open fire on your terrace or in the outdoor kitchen.
At Camp Adventure, we’ve worked to elevate the sense of exclusivity — without ever compromising the presence of nature, which rules both outside and within. The result is one of the most luxurious ways to stay in the heart of the forest.
No matter the season, the forest yurts offer a safe and comfortable retreat. Inspired by the nomadic people of the Gobi Desert, the tents are built to withstand the harsh winters of the plains — making a Danish winter feel like a mild summer day.
As the sun sets and you return from long walks through the forest and up the tower, settle by the glowing embers of the fire or gaze at shooting stars from beneath the covers.
Find your peace — right here, in the heart of nature.
YURTS IN ZEALAND
The yurts at Camp Adventure in South Zealand offer a unique opportunity to get closer to nature and truly disconnect.
Make yourself comfortable in the sauna, reserved exclusively for overnight guests in the yurts. As you pour water over the hot stones, you can feel the stress melt away while gazing out across the serene lake — often visited by the forest’s deer.
Nestled in the middle of the beech forest, the yurts are just a short walk from the iconic Forest Tower, to which you have unlimited access as an overnight guest. Brew a warm cup of coffee and bring it along for a peaceful sunrise from the top of the 45-meter-high tower.
You’ll have the Forest Tower all to yourself outside of regular opening hours, giving you the chance to experience the magic of the sun rising and setting over the treetops. When night falls, wrap yourself in a soft blanket and watch the moon and stars light up the sky.
This exclusive stay feels like stepping into another world — even though the yurts of Zealand are just a short drive from Copenhagen.
UNIQUE, SUSTAINABLE DECOR
Each yurt at Camp Adventure is uniquely decorated with a focus on nature, sustainability, and thoughtful details. The furniture is crafted from surplus wood or upcycled materials, while the décor pays homage to Denmark’s rich industrial design heritage — a hallmark of South Zealand, with names such as Holmegaard, Kähler, and Jens Harald Quistgaard.
The yurts are simple yet comfortably furnished, accommodating two to six guests, with the option of an extra bed. Each yurt includes a kitchen, a sleeping area, and a dining space, along with private bath and toilet facilities.
Camp Adventure’s yurts are available year-round, and the changing elements of nature add an extra dimension to your connection with the surroundings. The tents are heated, and the private bathhouses feature underfloor heating. During the colder months, the tents will feel cooler, so we recommend bringing extra warm clothing and slippers. Each yurt is fully equipped with linen, towels, tea towels, and kitchen towels to make your stay both comfortable and cozy.

Accommodation in the yurts at Camp Adventure gives access to unique opportunities to get closer to nature. You can visit the Forest Tower outside opening hours and enjoy the starry sky all by yourself, or relax in the sauna close to your yurt.
