A stay in the unique glamping tents on Zealand leaves you alone in the middle of nature with the comfort of a luxury hotel. The tents are inspired by traditional yurts from the plains of Mongolia and are furnished with nature in focus. Glamping in Denmark is often insulated for the summer, but at Camp Adventure the yurts are insulated, heated and can be used all year round.
What is glamping? Imagine opening your eyes to the sound of the forest waking up. You can see the sky brighten through the glass dome just above your bed, and outside your door a wild natural landscape unfolds.
The trees surround the Mongolian yurt and the lake unfolds right in front of the large wooden terrace. The smell of freshly brewed coffee spreads from the kitchen, and in your separate and private bath building you can take a steaming tub with a view of nature. Maybe later you will have to cook over a fire on the private terrace or in the outdoor kitchen. At Camp Adventure, we have made an effort to increase the exclusivity, without compromising nature, which reigns both outside and inside. This makes Camp Adventure one of the most luxurious options for glamping Denmark offers.
Regardless of the season, you can warm and safely try glamping in the forest, as the yurts are inspired by the nomadic people of the Gobi Desert. Their tents are built to withstand the harsh winters on the plains, which make the Danish winters appear like a mild summer day.
When the sun goes down and you are tired after long walks in the forest and the tower, relax in front of the embers by the fire, or look for shooting stars while lying under the covers. Find peace right here. In the middle of nature.
Glamping at Camp Adventure in South Zealand offers unique opportunities to get closer to nature, where you get the opportunity to disconnect.
Get comfortable in the wilderness sauna, which is only for glamping guests. When you grab the ladle and pour water on the sauna stones, you feel the stress-relieving effect of the heat, while you look out at the beautiful lake, which is visited by the forest's deer. The sauna is located between the Terra Cotta and Forest Green yurts.
In the middle of the beech forest, you can walk from your glamping tent to the Forest Tower in a few minutes, to which you have unlimited access as glamping guests. Brew a hot cup of coffee in your own tent, and take it up to the 45 meter high lookout tower.
You have access to the Forest Tower outside opening hours, so you can enjoy the magical sight of the sun rising and setting. When darkness falls, you can – wrapped in warm blankets from your glamping cabin – look at the moon and the stars.
The exclusive stay will make you feel like you are in another galaxy, even though glamping in Zealand is a short drive away from Copenhagen.
The yurts are furnished differently with a focus on nature, sustainability and the small details, and therefore the furniture is either built from surplus wood or is upcycled recycled finds. The decor and details send a loving greeting to Denmark's fine industrial design history, which has been the hallmark of South Zealand with, for example, Holmegaard, Kähler and Jens Harald Quistgaard. All tents are simply furnished with two to four beds and the possibility of one extra bed. Each tent is furnished with a kitchen, bed and dining area. The tents have private bathing and toilet facilities.
Glamping at Camp Adventure can be booked in all of Denmark's four seasons and the elements of nature add an extra dimension to the feeling of being very close to nature. The tents are heated, and there is underfloor heating in the private bath house. It will be colder in the tents when it is cold outside, and we therefore recommend that you bring extra warm clothes and slippers in winter. In the tents, there is linen, towels, tea towels and kitchen towels. However, it is possible to bring this yourself to minimize the environmental impact. In that case, DKK 200 will be deducted at the time of booking.
There are six glamping tents at Camp Adventure. Navy, Cranberry and Olive can accommodate two people. Cool Gray can accommodate four people in two double beds - one in the tent itself and one in an annex under the terrace. Our latest yurts Terra Cotta and Forest Green can accommodate six people in three double beds - one in the tent itself and two in annexes under the terrace. An extra bed can be purchased in the tent for DKK 500.
It is possible to book up to four consecutive nights. The following discount is automatically given on the glamping rental price when booking several consecutive nights.
2 nights: 10% discount
3 nights: 15% discount
